The scholarship allowed me to immerse myself fully in a new culture and academic environment. My studies in nautical science were enriched by the diverse perspectives and cutting-edge knowledge I encountered abroad, which has significantly enhanced my expertise in the field.

The Tetra Foundation Scholarship has been a cornerstone of my educational journey in Nautical Science at the Metropolitan College in Greece. Thanks to this generous support, I have been fully immersed in my studies, focusing on the complexities of maritime navigation and safety without the burden of financial stress.
At the beginning of my Nautical Science degree program, I took courses that significantly broadened my understanding of navigation and sea operations.
In addition, the scholarship enabled me to focus on academic excellence, participate in practical navigation, maritime safety and seamanship trainings that would otherwise have been out of reach, improving my skills and preparing me for a successful career at sea.
It has been an enriching experience to live and study in Greece, giving me unique insights into maritime culture and history that complemented my academic studies. I have been able to broaden my perspective and gain a deeper understanding of the maritime industry by connecting with experienced professors and fellow students from diverse backgrounds.
This opportunity to change my life is owed to the Tetra Foundation. Looking ahead, I am committed to making the most of it as I continue my studies and strive at becoming a Captain someday and contributing to the International Maritime Community at large.

My first year in Greece, immersed in Nautical Science at the academy, has been remarkable because of your generous support. The extensive academic program enabled me to increase my knowledge base with regard to principles in maritime discipline and practice.
Concurrently, practical training developed my navigation and technical skills. Experiences that brought me into contact with the rich maritime culture of Greece have given a worldwide view of the shipping industry by showing me the importance of what I am learning.
The academic faculty and fellow students have been nothing short of encouraging, making up an environment that is cooperative and empowering in one's mutual growth.
