Looking Back: GoodWork Marine 2023 Seafarers Conference
On May 17th, 2023, GoodWork Marine, the recruitment partner for Tetra Foundation, hosted its maiden Seafarers Conference tagged “Seafarers Sustained Growth and Excellence”, at the Lagos Continental Hotel. Tetra Foundation was represented by the shortlisted cadets for the Seafarers program and some participants from the Tetra Foundation team.

The Seafarers Conference provided a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, gain new perspectives, and explore innovative approaches to addressing the challenges encountered at sea while providing insights on the best practices to position and embrace impending changes in the maritime industry.
The event posed a great opportunity for the shortlisted cadets to gain firsthand experience and interact with Nigerian Seafarers who have worked hard and accomplished their dreams of being certified officers and engineers.

The cadets had the opportunity to meet high-rank executives from the funding partner sponsoring the 2023 batch of the Seafarers Program. This included Mr Lewis Cadji and Mr Laurent Cadji, the Chairman and the Managing Director of UML Group.
